Some History …
In 2012, Stefano “Muzzman” inspired a Ducati Sport Classic Show ‘n Shine that brought out over 70 Ducati Sport Classic riders and lots more enthusiasts to an epic event which has been one of the biggest gathering of Ducati Sport Classics in the Pacific Northwest of North America. Stefano engaged the Sport Classic owners’ community and helped Vancouver BMW Ducati organize an outstanding day long event topped only by a ride that took people through some of the amazingly beautiful countryside of British Columbia along the Sea-to-Sky Highway up to Whistler and beyond on the following day.
Now in 2014, we want to bring this passion back! Stefano has been a busy man but has encouraged us to take the reigns and carry on with his legacy.
We want the Ducati Sport Classic to be the center of focus and attention for the day, but have added a few other features to give back to the community of riders: Dyno, Service Seminars, Apparel Seminars, other fun games and prizes to be had for participating in the fun that will be had on August 2nd.

Graham with Valley Pro Racing will be bringing their portable Dyno machine to Vancouver BMW Ducati to give people the opportunity to see the real “Wheel” Horsepower of their machine.

Service Seminars
Service will have a part of the shop open and available to the public so that YOU can see where your baby goes for maintenance and repairs.
We are also hosting a number of quick seminars that day including “Basic Maintenance Refresher” and “On the Road Tire Repair”. A schedule of seminars and times will be posted for all.
Apparel Seminars
Two major seminars will be hosted: Helmet fitting and HearSmart ear protection.
One thing that is common among riders is that most are not fit properly in the helmet they wear. The standard “put the helmet on your head and look to see if your cheeks are puffed up or grasp the helmet and see if it moves” is not exactly the best way to fit a helmet. Some helmet makers are great at providing inter-changeable padding to accommodate a better fit. Come down and hear Peter talk about proper fitting and likely surprise you that you may not be fit properly in size.
Hearing is something that a lot of us take for granted. Motorcycles can be noisy, and sometimes we MAKE them noisy to try and ensure others see us. Over time, this takes a beating on our hearing. HearSmart will have a booth to discuss the misconceptions of ear plugs and the benefits of this technology. Things have come a long ways as well in this technology.
