Email Trish to book an appointment 😀 See below…….

The BMW Motorrad Exclusively Female Test Ride Event scheduled for May 4th, 2013.

This event is strictly for women only and free of pressure sales. It’s a comfortable and fun day just for us ladies to test ride models from the BMW Fleet. The event is held at the Delta Town & Country Inn which is located in Delta, BC (Highway 17 at Highway 99). The test rides begin at 9:00 am which is a group ride lead for approximately 45 minutes. The test rides continue every hour on the hour and the last test ride is at 4:00pm. There will be snacks, refreshments and live DJ’s on site. You have the opportunity to book two test models of your choice with further opportunity to test ride more models, if available.

Requirements to participate are that you have a valid class 6 and that you bring your own helmet, gloves and riding jacket.

So please check out the web site at http://www.bmw-motorrad.ca here for the full BMW line up. There will be factory lowered models available for the F700GS, F800GS and the R1200RT and many lowered seat options, if seat height is an issue. To book your test ride or for further assistance send an email to trish17116741361000r1711674136r@hot1711674136mail.1711674136com1711674136 or call or text Trish at 604-910-2783.

Maintenance 101 and 201, May 11th and 12th.

I will offer up 101 courses at 1:30 and possibly 6pm (if required) May 11th for anyone who needs a refresher.
On Sunday, May 12th, I will offer a 201 at 9am, and possibly 2pm (if required).
I have cleared off that list, so if you are truly interested in working on your own bike (201), shout it out ASAP.
Only 4 to a class.

The next Pitt Meadows Track Day is Monday May 20th.

Don’t play on the streets like an idiot! If you’re not sure, check out

Bike wash for Steve Wyatt, Sunday May 19th.

A super sweet friend of mine, friendly and helpful to all, Steve unfortunately passed away last week after a short battle with brain cancer. And incredible mechanic, racer, and all around good guy, Steve will be missed by many.
Awesome Cheri has organized a bike wash to help out Steve’s family. As they were more givers than takers, they were left strapped by Steve’s passing, so if you could drop by and get your bike washed, it’s Sunday May 19th at Carter Motorsports on Granville Island.

Advanced Rider Training, June 18th/23rd with West Coast Superbike School.

Don’t let the superbike fool you, this course is about skills improvement, not racing. A lot of the same theories apply, but you’ll find cruisers and touring bikes amongst the crowd, and ages too! I try and make this every year, because it’s so much fun for me to be a part of people’s adventure. For many it’s one of the best motorcycle days ever!! You need to register well ahead of time for this, so here’s your notice 😉 http://www.westcoastsuperbikeschool.com/

Take it easy! The street is not a racetrack. Old tires are junk! Jeans are not safety gear. Nor are runners. Old helmets make great flower pots, but are useless in a crash. Don’t put any helmet on the gas tank, the vapors ruin the Styrofoams inside.

When you plan a ride, plan on stops to check out waterfalls and flea markets, etc. Make the day more than just booting around.
Shannon Falls, BC Mining Museum, Othello Tunnels, Ruskin Power Station, watch some races http://www.westwoodracing.com/

Plan a trip!.

Thanks
